Indonesia Losses Rp 3.87 Tn in Semester 2

Indonesia's Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) finds massive losses from state income along the second half of 2010 worth Rp 3.87 trillion (in Rupiah denomination) and US$156.43 million. The potential losses may come from 3,760 financial cases.

2,013 cases have likely injured state income by Rp 1.02 trillion and US$5.74 million. Meanwhile, the potential losses from 526 cases reach Rp 1.69 trillion and US$53.15 million. On the other hand, the lack of income hits Rp 1.15 billion and US$95.73 million.

In a report, BPK analyzes 734 objects which have resulted in 6,355 cases worth Rp 6.46 trillion and US$156.43 million.
