New Car Mini Gets A KISS Makeover

Rock ‘n’ roll all night and party every day in Mini’s limited edition KISS-themed Countryman models. Mini designers have created four KISS-themed versions of the Countryman to auction off for charity.

The four Mini Countryman models have been painted to resemble the face paint worn by KISS band members Paul Stanley (Starchild), Gene Simmons (The Demon), Tommy Thayer (Spaceman) and Eric Singer (Catman).

The art was completed by BMW-group employees on their own time, and all of the KISS Minis have been autographed by the members of the band. The auction is currently being run on Ebay, with proceeds to be directed to UNICEF to help children affected by the recent natural disasters in Japan.

KISS member and co-founder Paul Stanley says the auction is a great way to get your hands on some drivable KISS memorabilia, while also doing your bit to help out.

"Helping others is a gift we can give ourselves, but here's a four wheel bonus!" he says. "The KISS Minis are the ultimate way to show your KISS Army colours while helping our friends in Japan who have been devastated by the recent earthquake and floods."

"We're asking everyone to open their wallets to help UNICEF raise money for children who are still coping with the effects of these disasters."

At the time of writing, the Demon and the Catman were tied for top dollar (both were at US$28,300 – with six days and 22 hours remaining).
