Indonesia has made significant progress towards achieving its basic education targets. However, while the country as a whole is on track to broadly achieve the second Millennium Development Goal (MDG) of achieving universal primary education, the situation varies from district to district. In 2008 the national primary school net enrolment rate (NER) was 96 per cent, with equal access overall for boys and girls. The country has also made good progress in recent years on the Education for All (EFA) target to provide nine years of education for all girls and boys.

The United Nations Children s Funds looking qualified experienced consultants to assist Child Protection Mapping in Aceh, Central Java, East Java, Sulawesi, Papua and NTT. Consultants will work in terms of 2 to 3 persons with one team leader. The participatory mapping exercise will be led and carried out by Government with UNICEF facilitation. Consultants will be responsible to ensure an analytical report capturing and analyzing the findings from the participatory mapping.

Minimum requirements:

1. Master or other higher degree in Social Science, Anthropology, Law or another related field.
2. Demonstrated understanding of Government functions related to Child Protection
3. Minimum 10 years experience and clear professional expertise to strategically documents and analyze
