Jakarta Police Department investigates three leasing companies such as PT Buana Finance, ACC Finance, and SMS Finance following enforced confiscation of a car owned by a university student near Jakarta's business district, Kuningan.
"The three leasing companies are those giving authorization toward the debt collectors which perpetrated the action," said Chief of Crime and Investigation Division at the Jakarta Police Department, Adj. Chief. Comm. Herry Heryawan, on Monday.
Herry said the firms are summoned as police had gained evidence found in the confiscated car. "Those companies are Buana Finance, ACC Finance, and SMS Finance," he said.
Police said four suspects are still on the run, while two others initialed VR and A have been appehended.
