MEDAN - City Education agency Chief Hasan Basri refused to admit allegation that he is involved a graft case. He challenges North Sumatra Prosecutor's Office to prove him guilty over budget embezzlement.
"Province's Prosecutor must find strong evidences. Otherwise, I will file lawsuit on the law uphold instance," Hasan said Wednesday has added NGO which exposing the case in his list.
The official argued, financial support from the government totally managed by schools for building rehabilitation. "The Education agency never intervened the budget. but to allocate for schools in Medan," said he. "Besides, State Audit Agency or BPK has audited the program."
"The accusation is not true."
Separately, Prosecutor Chief Sution Usman Adji just saying the case is seriously probed.
"The lawsuit is up to Hasan. I don't think we should mind his challange," he answered reporters' question.
The local NGO, Mahoni, is certain that Hasan has misused his power within the budget graft.
"Mahoni has gathered strong proofs. Some are manipulated accountability report," the organization director Bobi Tobing said here.
Bobi alleges Hasan has made direct appointment to carry out the rehabilitation program.
